Had Great Spots close to home but this year I'm losing all my spots Had a great wheat field got leased out from under me had another wheat field that the people decided they didn't want anybody to hunt had 2 different private lakes that the people decided that it was no hunting other fields that were turned to dirt all hold good bird numbers its so frustrating i haven't even been out this year yet what do you do to keep spots? i don't have money to pay people so it seems like a lost cause.

Im frustarted as well. But I feel your pain!

Might as well get used to it,nothing good last very long in this state. Hunting is becoming a rich man's sport. You gotta join a club and pay to play :hunt2:

well you can't blame a farmer for working his fields and turning them under. fall plowin is always the best. as far as the others thing go. it sucks to lose great spots, but it happens a lot. sounds like you had some great times at the spots you had. Good luck hope you find some more great spots.

been out around town 6 or 7 times this year i only hunt public so far and have to do some work to get into areas but ive done all right. send me a pm with your info and maybe we can get a hunt in.

This is the way things are going. Big hunt clubs or guide services are leasing everything they can or people are starting to drop money for a chunk of land. It's only going to get worse as all the baby boomers are retiring and need something to fill there free time along with others.

My plan is to win the lottery and then it will not be a problem :IBCOOL:

:yeah:
I have a few public spots that are still somewhat "private".... but the reality is that hunting is just getting harder and harder.
