Well with twins coming at the end of nov. and the wife's grandma coming in for thanksgiving i have one day to go hunt for late archery deer. So iam going to go over to swakane on the 21st and try my luck. Does any body know if there is any public land in the lower part of the nahahum canyon? I know alot of area up burtch but was wondering about nahahum and does any body know if you can drive to the end of warm springs canyon, it looks like you can from the map but dont really know. Any info would be great.

Lower Nahahum is mostly all private. Have to go 3/4 the way up to access private ground. The bucks are rutting pretty hard have seen some dandy ones but no way to get at them. Not sure about warm springs access haven't ever tried it. Burch might be best bet but you will see a lot of hunters. Could try Swakane canyon road.

warm spring not accesable but good luck with your hunt, closing the deal in one day with the conditions we are going to have this year is going to be a challenge
