I'm afraid so...on Friday we went out for our last scouting trip before the season...and this bull was #1 on our hit list. We found the body of a huge bull near an area we have been watching this elk all summer. Looked a few days old. The head was cut off above the shoulders.

I would love to hear if anyone has seen him since, there was no head so we can't say for sure, but the body was huge. When we called it in it hadn't been reported yet.

Dan Agnew was trying to get permission for this bull with the Gov tag. Est was 440 gross. Even with all that mass you could have driven a snowmobile between his rack...he looked like a cartoon character.  :bash:   >:(  :bash:

Funny. I posted a question about this bull earlier this week. I was told I was wrong.. Sad to know my info was right. Would of been nice to see someone harvest him.

Hey Rosscrazy,

There is a post on your thread that someone saw him this weekend. I hope it's true. All I know is we found a huge bodied bull with no head in the same area we have seen Mr. huge. He wasn't at the Bugling Bull ranch, but was within 5 miles of that area...not far for an elk to travel. I hope he is still alive because when the pressure starts, I know where he is going to be!

If you are who I think you are. Good luck I hope he is there for you.

Be a damned shame if someone poached him.  It's a shame someone poached ANY bull, really.
