We are doing a couple turkey,2 full turkey breast,ABT's,Moink Balls,Grilled Tri-Tip,And some fresh sausage.Thats whats on My cooker for Thursday.

How about giving out your secred recipe for smoking a turkey? Brine? Rub? Temp you cook at?

If the bird isnt fresh You really dont need to brine because they already are enhanced.
I take the bird and rub it down with butter and but pats of butter under the skin and that also when a put my rub on under the skin.Put some inside the bird and also on the outside of the skin.
My cooker will be running at 225-250 all the way through the cook until like the last 30-45 minutes then I bump it up to 300-325 to crisp up the skin.
The turkeys are easy to do.They are real tastey.

I refuse to eat turkey for Thanksgiving.

I have a couple of turkey breasts and some legs brining as we speak. One we will take to a family event, one to a friend for out of town travel. On to the smoker saturday.
Brining the giblets for me to eat while waiting. YUM

for us its a full on turkey dinner with plenty of leftovers, the primerib is for christmas.

Well been huntin since mid august. So I am planning on sleeping in a little and doing a little cooking before i get up.
