What do you guys think about these type of web sites? Any good or just a fart in the dark.

Soooooo what's the point? To see if the gun you brought home is stolen? To check while the seller waits?

Either way Mike. From what I gather is you can list your gun(s) so there is more data base to find a stolen weapon or you can check to see if the one you are interested in is stolen.

I didn't go through the registration process to be able to list stolen guns, but I wonder if it requires proof of a Police Report being filed.. :dunno:

Who runs this site and who has access to all the listings? What might all that info be used for?
Maybe it's just another way to show ads and collect personal information.
