Title: LATE ARCHERY 1ST SEASON?
Post by: BUBBA12 on November 18, 2010, 12:33:14 PM
This is my first year hunting Archery. Had a good year so far. Shot a 3 pt Muley in Mansfeild area and a Black bear in Wenatchee. Spent about 8 hours looking for it the next day couldnt find it  :(. Big chit ran into the Methow... Ive hunted elk (modern) 5 years before. Never any luck... Trying to get some input on some areas to hunt? Thinking Cle-elum, Little Naches or Bethel ridge??? :dunno:

Look at your regs for the late season. The bethell is closed because of the FEED STATION, but everything AROUND(hint, hint) Bethell is open.
When the waether is in, they are on a rush to get to the Bethell.
Its nice because my dad lives in Naches, a shower, a warm bed, cant beat that!! Well, a cow would be nice too, but then im asking for a bit much.

Next time, on a first post, chat about things from your hunting experiances, or pics. Get some posts accumulated before just a question of where are the elk. Not trying to be rude, but we all want info, even the guy with 2000 posts.

Way to go on the 3 point! You sound like me about 10 yrs ago. First year opening day of archery, i get a nice 3 point in velvet, then went for elk. A compleetly diffrent game there!
Good luck
