This is the buck my wife shot on a BMA in Area 5 of Central Montana. We hunted the evening before and saw 4 muley bucks, but we could not close the distance under 500 yards. The next morning we hunted a little closer to the creek and at 9 am this buck came up the rim following two does. They were oblivious to our location, so my wife put the Browning .25-06 on her shooting sticks and promptly put a nosler bullet through it's heart. 75 yard shot, 75 yard run and 100 yard drag to the ranch road! Her nicest WT yet! The great part of this story is the owner let us hunt around the cattle since it was just her hunting and I was tagged out, no one had hunted this area for a couple weeks, thank goodness!!
