Took my 6 year old out for a nice hunt today at a Snoqualmie Valley release site. Had the place pretty much to ourselves, and it was snowing hard. Our pup put up three birds, killed one, missed another, and lost one in the middle of a nasty patch of blackberries. My son carried the rooster around all morning. He is really starting to enjoy our hunts together.
Absolutely great Sunday morning!
