That new camera is doing a pretty decent job for you. I really like the photo of the Mallard drake. I hope you don't mind but I adjusted the exposure a little bit to make it really POP. You really did a good job capturing the duck.

A little bit of Post processing can make a photo come alive for you instead of just being a so-so photo. Adjusting the Levels of a photo, bumping up the contrast and color saturation and then doing a little sharpening is all I did to your photo and you can see how much better the photo looks.
What software are you using to edit your photos and to save them? Gimp and Picasa are awesome Free programs. They will help you edit your photos.
