I picked up my Camera that i put out on May. The batteries were still working after 6 months and over 300 pictures. Last week they had a high of -4 and low of -20. so the battery life is great. I'm not impressed with the night pictures. The trigger speed seams a little slow. I got a lot of pictures of a butt or one back leg before the picture took. overall the cam works good. Next time i will just point the camera down the trail. ( the month date is off by 4 months )

great pictures ! I also have that cam (I think it's that one) if it's the 8 mp cam then change the setting to 5 mp and you will get less blurry pics :hello:
-
Great pictures.
I have two of the 8 meg Bushnells and don't have a problem with trigger speed or response time, but I do have a problem with the dark daytime photos. I get that the night pics can be bad due to the IR but the day photos should be better in my opinion.
As for battery life, I got nearly 1,200 photos in 5 days on the 8 meg setting with only 4 AA batteries. I have also gotten nearly 2 megs of video on the same set of batteries.

2nd the IR night pics. Watch the sensitivity setting as it can be pretty touchy. Got 15,000 pics(8 batts) in a couple months in a windy area.
-
The 8mp cams have had alot of problems. The other funny thing about them is the sensativety settings do nothing. no matter what you set it on it will be the same. It's a marketing scam. When the new model cams come out next year then they are sapose to be better and stack up to what they are advertised to be.
Untill then the 5 mp cams are the best bang for the buck.

Wow great pics! GO get that mulie... and the coyote... and the bull... and the small mulie :chuckle:
-
To truly capture more game you need to point the camera down or up the trail that way you will be assured to capture the animal better instead of as it crosses the trigger area. Thus only catching the ass end or portion of the animal

Nice pics

Very nice pictures. Where were they taken? Looks like a trail leading to a game farm.
-
that looks like a great honey hole
-
Sweet pics.

You had a really long soak on that one. Looks like it must be out in the open. Any pictures of hunters or other people?
-
It's a private ranch in central Montana ( missouri river breaks area ). no other people around. The Horses sure liked the camera. Probably 100 pictures of horses looking at the camera. I put it up in May when I went over to brand cows and picked it up in November. The dates are off.

on those bushnells can you view the pics out in the field or do you have to wait and hook it up to a computer?
-
Some nice pictures there!
