No bulls there huh.... Hmmm... If thats the case, wonder why the main roads look like I-5 during the holiday season?  Wish everybody believed in your theory spin05 ;)

I know of 3 4x4's and a 5x4, all brush racks. . . Don't have any pictures though  :dunno:

Active logging tears those roads up. looks like a freeway everywhere in there   :rolleyes:

I heard the locals kill many of the bulls the night before the opener.   :twocents:

Nope, wasn't referring to the conditions of the roads, but the vehicles that occupy them during hunting season.  Its a heavily populated area for ten days in november.  Besides, thats a mute pt... Just wanted to hear some success stories and a few pics if you guys have them from that area.

The blow down from the 2 big storms has caused many problems in 673.  Many trees had to be removed and cut down early to save the lumber that had fell.  There are lots of elk, but they hold up in the nastiest of the nastiest.  I shot a cow in 673, and the bull in the herd is still alive.  My father lives in South Bend and he has seen several bulls still running around on 101.  Unless you are a cougar good luck walking through the forest without making a rucus on all the blowdown.

i know of 2 small bulls killed there this early season, that is pretty much all i herd of this year out of there. as for bear river a guy in our camp killed a small 5x5 out of there last weekend.
