Title: Anyone have Pics of the tape across point bases to show the measure
Post by: Hornseeker on December 02, 2010, 08:21:44 AM
Point? I measured my bull twice. Being VERY conservative once I get 376... being a little more liberal with the tape and the bases of the points...get 383!! Just curious. Also...how far into the burr do I put the zero lline... wrap it around the burr or just end it where the burr starts... what?

Thanks

Hornseeker, feel free to give me a call and I can explain the nuances of measuring points, and how to establish baselines.  Many people make huge mistakes in these two areas.  Congrats on your bull BTW!  Tom 360-870-7264

Tom, did you see that eastmans article?? If they were accurate with descriptions and pictures, then I got a real good idea of how to get it done... bottom line is...he is what he is. At the end of January I'll take him to the official scorer and get it done!!

Thanks!
