Title: thinking of idaho
Post by: huntandjeep on December 04, 2010, 03:55:12 PM: So me my bro and buddy are wanting to hunt idaho next year. None of use have been there so were not real sure of what units to scout. What are some good units for mulies. Also how late could we wait to buy our tags and license. Ive got the $ now but the other two have to wait till tax time. Thanks

There are many good places in ID for mulies. You'll get some good responses here!

I would look at the South portion of the state but the good areas are draw only and receive a lot of pressure. Way up north are some lesser hunted areas for mulies ( hint hint)

Game Biologists are a great resource to use. I would start calling in the next few months :twocents:

One more question in the harvest statistics search where you put in the number what do they mean (range 0-100 mean 58.6) Ive been using the mean # . What is the mean #.

true story....just remember, winter hits like mike tyson in his haydays down there
