I just found out I'm goin hunting this weekend in Republic Washington! never hunted there, I've been there been to curlew and other surrounding areas just not for hunting i have seen plenty of deer there haven't been there in about 8 years i have never hunted the land i'll be hunting before and i dont know the lay of the land very well just wondering if there are some tips for the area or that type of deer whitetail i do not have much experience hunting them either or hunting this time of year there or any little tips would be useful to help put some meat in the freezer!!

There are more wolves and cougars than deer there.
Seriously though, hunt out of a treestand, be dead still, quiet and scent free. Set up on intersecting trails.

thank you very much! from what I hear it's a few hundred adjacsent a few thousand acres of private land and the kind people nice enough to let me hunt there rifle hunt and their whole camp tags out every year but thats with a rifle! and they wont be there to give me the heads up on where or what to do!

Lots of Cows out there. (Open Range) Was there for early season for deer and chased a cougar. Seen a couple deer though. Good luck to ya.
