Title: Muzzleloader question?

It goes on to say that primers designed to be used in modern cartridges are not legal. ie. no 209 shotgun primers. HTH.

What model are you looking at? There is a Remmington based off the Model 700. From all I can tell / see, the breach is not exposed, thus making it a no go for here in Washington.

Post by: Blsum on December 10, 2010, 10:11:02 AM: I know a couple of guy's who have Remington muzzle loaders. I'm not sure what model they have but the one's they have are legal in Washington. I do know that they both shoot .54 cal.

Post by: Heredoggydoggy on December 10, 2010, 10:16:58 AM: I'm told that guys that have inlines with encosed breeches are having a machine shop mill an opening in the top of the action so the nipple is "Exposed to the weather" thus making it legal in WA. Dunno... I use the old style sidelock gun.

It uses a conversion kit and shoots number 11's my friend has one. will try and find it online, if i can i will post a picture of it.

My ex gf's dad has a remington that is inline and exposed to the elements, it was a nice weapon with a stainless barrel

Find out the year and the model number and I will be able to tell you.

I shoot a Remington .54 700 ML. 24 inch barrell & WA legal.

700 ML (1996-2004)
700 ML Camo (1997-2000)
700 ML Custom (1997-1998)
700 ML Youth (1998-2000)
700 MLS (1996-2001)
700 MLS Camo (1997-2000)
700 MLS Custom (1997-1998)
700 MLS Magnum (2002-2004)
700 MLS Magnum Camo (2002-2004)

The MLS Magnum from 2002-2004 was a 26 inch barrel in .50 cal

after 2004 they made the Genesis - which is not legal for WA. It is a closed breech, 209 ignition used for other states.

i wish i would have known that
