Title: Beetles
Post by: dscubame on December 13, 2010, 02:25:26 PM
A local guy here in Spokane wants $50 to beetle a deer head.  I got a his name from a landscaper I hired this last summer and sounds like he does this out of his garage.  Is that the going rate for a beetler?

Thanks, Dan

Is he going to degrease and whiten for that price?  If not the beetle job is the easiest part.

No degreasing or whitening simply the beetle cleaning.

You will still have several weeks of degreasing to do and then have to whiten it.  Might as well spend $30 on a good fish tank heater and clean the skull yourself in a week to 10 days.  If your going to end up with 3/4 of the work might as well do it all.

I charge $135 to Clean, Degrease, & Whiten Deer Skulls.
