I have a 375 H&H that has a target weight barrel on it, it is an 11pound gun, shoots killer, packs even more killer. I have been wanting to turn it down or flute the piss out of it to drop some tonnage. I just got off the phone with mel doyle. he told me I coul have it back in 3 days and the price was beyond fair! that is about 150 bux less and 3 months faster then the rest of the guys. I will be the proud owner of a rifle that weighs about 8 pounds and hits like a house. I am gonna run it down next week after I blast a bull with it!

it wear a mc milan and a kickeze pad so I am not worried there, I have bigger rifles in lighter weights that are ok to shoot. I just love the gun, but hate the extra weight.....it balances WAY too far forward.

it's back and mel did a nice job. recontoured, blast and blued, reinstalled and stocked it for $50. I am flat impressed that he can get it done that quick. any eastside guys looking for a smith and anyone looking for a pro blue job.....mel doyle's price can't be beat and he does a nice job.
