I took my 6 year old with me to the duck blind for a while. He lasted 1.5 hours before he got to cold and was ready to go back to the truck. The birds were not flying very good but I did manage to shoot a double that came in, he thought that was cool. He also got to have his 1st adventure of getting stuck, thanks to stickslinger for the help. He got to go duck hunting and get stuck all in the same day.

Just a thought, did you air down? Sounds like he had a great time though.

We were a little high centered, tires not hitting ground

Sounds like you guys had a good time and you mad eit home safe. Congrats on the ducks, he looks very happy! :IBCOOL:

Thats cool! Glad you guys got to get out together. Its always nice to have friends close by, that you can count on.
On a side not, i am very laid back guy. But i get very mad when i get stuck :bash: Most of the times, there is no cell service for miles were i am at :bash: That and getting lost are the 2 big ones for me :chuckle:

I know about no cell service, I live a bit west of you Carps and we have no cell service what so ever. My ham radio works well though, at least I can contact my wife if needed. I dont like getting stuck either and there's lots of snow here right now. Like the snow though :)

Looks like a great time with the kid, and always fun to play in the snow :chuckle:

Looks like you found a lot of snow for the basin. Airing down doesn't work so well when your high-centered. I was about in the same situation yesterday afternoon.

I needed a break anyway. :chuckle:
