Got a few pictures of this guy early November in the Methow Valley, big bodied & gray faced, how old do you guys think he is?
-
he lacks all the things I see in old bucks.....big shoulders, roman nose, scars, mass. I am in the young buck camp.
-
2 he doesn't have mass, he has a big body but I still say 2
-
youngun.....
-
I also say 2 1/2, most likely he will be one of those 25" wide two points for the next 5-7 years breeding that gene into lots of bucks for the future. I hear the WDFW is going to have a two point restriction for the wolves :chuckle:. Enforcement will be the issue :bash: :bash: :bash:

Thanks for the replies, not really a deer guy. I was running cameras for predators & got a mixed bag (as always) but this guy wasn't the average forked horn I'm used to seeing. Dave
