Title: Green river for steelhead
Post by: gutsnthegrass on December 28, 2010, 11:46:59 AM
How is the fishing on the Green River these days?  I haven't gone after steelhead in several years and looking to get back into it.  I used to fish headworks and kanasket palmer many years ago and we didn't do very well, but always saw other guys catching some, we must have not been doing something right.  Any info would be appreciated, thanks.

tough show for sure.  i've got friends that live up in that area that do OK but they know the river really well.  i haven't been there since i was a kid.

it's looking like steelheading is on life support for the puget sound rivers, and the peninsula rivers are next.

Super slow...best bet is around KP, but again almost not worth all the effort
