We hit fish lake today and puleed a few from the darkness. We only caught 2 pearch but the trout were on fire.
The weather was awsome and the ice was scary
-
Looks like fun, and cold!
-
looks like a good cold day on the lake. I have always wanted to go ice fishing.
-
To cold! Fishing is for summer :chuckle: Beers and boats! snow and frozen water is time to kill dogs ;) But it looks like you enjoy it so keep the pics coming thanks :hello:
-
How thick was the ice? I wanted to take the wife and kids up for a little fishing fun! Any hint on bait? Looks like fun, congrats!
-
Ice fishing is always fun gotta bundle up with a little flask
of anti freeze though ;)
-
We had a flask going.
The ice was about 4 inches on the good side and I drilled a hole that was scary not pushing 4. We did not get no more than 100 yards from the cove. We never made it to our lucky hole but it still worked out.
I would say another week or so before that image in the back of your brain goes away

By next weekend, there should be another 4''. Looks like next weekend is gonna be the time to take the family!
