well ya might be surprised how many have responded but you might not have seen..But I see so many yahoos screaming from the road, while the rig is running, then fly down the road to the next clearing..Them dogs are getting educated more and more..There is a vast amount of feed for them and the weather doesn't stay cold,so they really don't just run in to often like many do In your freezing climates..Bobs curiosity is what really gets them here I believe.

there isnt any cougars on the coast He He. was seeing if you new packwood. any road on the left above packwood is good calling. i might make call's tomorrow. or try some Local area's. i'll go back up in a couple day's. Rick
-
Yup, after a 2 hour stint of calling from 1 stand, I glassed for a bit then headed back to the car. On the way back I noticed some fresh yote tracks about 100yrds to the right of my stand, definitely a face-palm moment. Theyre out there, probably just wary of our calls

LOL uh hu. Ive cat hunted and a little deer near the iron creek area not to far from packwood for a while now. Didn't realize that cougar expired the 31st. haven't gotten one yet. ill be up there for bobcat though. Most of the roads to the left heading from randle to packwood are still washed out from the flood. The road just past is the end of the skate creek cut off. i know it well, or you talking farther towards the bridge wash out for back bone lake

Have any of you guys that hunt Hancock tried coyote hunting a little further out past eatonville, like skate creek road or Elbe trail system area? Just getting into coyote calling. So much private land from graham to Elbe

It was a great way to start the new year, thanks Jim and Rick for taking me along. Every time I get to go out and watch you guys call , I learn a little bit more. Truly was a privilege and very enjoyable.

No luck for me out by Monroe either....it was a gorgeous cold day...some snow, I love that area. Saw some human tracks, pet dogs, yotes and two sets of bobkitty tracks, but no one showed their face.
Still worth the drive and hike...it was gorgeous...plus it makes me want to get back out there for spring bear!~
Better luck next time Rasbo!

Definitely! I'd make a little hunting-wa sign to put in my windshield, but I have a feeling being the only guy back in there w/ a gold ford taurus will be easy enough to notice

Hey guys, this is my first year with a pass. I have spent the last few days driving the farm. Seems like alot of nice country. I have seen tons of yote tracks, a few deer and a nice cow elk a guy killed with the special permit. I'm driving a red Chevy reg cab, if you guys see me in there feel free to stop and shoot the breeze.
