I JUST BOUGHT MY NEW FISHING LICENSE AND I HAVE SO MUCH PAPERWORK I NEED A MURSE TO CARRY IT ALL!!!!!!!!!!
I AM WORRIED THAT WE ARE LOSING THOUSANDS OF ACRES OF FORESTLAND EVERY YEAR WHEN LICENSE'S ARE PRINTED!!!!!
-
How about the green it took to buy it?
-
I love the little plastic licence holder they give you. Like gettin kicked in the NUTS twice.
-
yea these new lisences are a big joke. 90% of pens dont write on them. the ink wears off really quickly if they get wet....they are a mile long. did i mention they are a joke...
-
they are definatly way to for sure

I bought all my and my two daughters hunting/fishing/crabbing licenses a several weeks ago and the dude kept messing up. He forgot to add bear and cougar to my deer and elk. Instead of voiding it he wanted to do an add on. Well, it is an additional charge to add the two instead of the package deal. I told him void it and give me the 4 way package or forget it. He screwed it up again. By the end of it all I wound up with all of our tags and licenses plus all of the voided crap. What a waste of materials! It took me 20 minutes to separate and fold it all to fit into the little sleeves. I hate the separate summer and winter crab catch records and all of the other misc crap. I wish they would go back to the old Tyvek transport tags that actually hold up to weather and abuse. The new junk fades to the point of being unreadable. What bunch of cheap crap!

When I shot my elk last year the game warden was watching me and when he came ove rto see meI gave him my special permit, hunting licence and all that other stuff and he gave it back and said " I cant even read all that *censored*, I know your good" I think they know the names of every permit holder in the area

I always buy mine in one package purchase but something to ponder. I was at the sporting goods store last year and there was a guy in there replacing his lost tag (I do not remember wich one) but the clerk said that if you buy them together the package and lose them, and only want to replace one you have to replace the whole package as lost not just the one tag you are going to hunt.
I would like to know the WDFW side of this maybe the clerk did not know how to replace just one.

I liked the yellow tags myself, those were handy little suckers.

I was just thinking that myself, those only lasted what....1 whole year. I liked them, dont like what they give us now.

I agree, much better. Sometimes I think they change just for the sake of change, it seems like they throw us a curveball every year now.

The yellow tags lasted a couple years. I saw too many dumb @ss's peel the back off and stick the tag to animals..what a joke.
For what it's worth, the vendor is the one who changed to the "receipt" type tag, not F&G.

I hated it when people brought bucks in and used the sticky to wrap it around the antlers, made it hard to get the tag number. And also had to clean all the sticky crap off the antler. I dont likr the new style either, I couldnt even read my tag by the time I got done packing my buck out. I like the old tags better.

Must be a pretty slow weekend when people are crying about crap like this! Unbelievable.

I would like to see the person decipher my steelhead / salmon tag after me trying to write in all of the information in those little bitty squares on the tag when it is pouring down sideways rain on the river or the swells and wind chop on the ocean are such that it's all I can do to get the tag out of my wallet let alone write on it.
What a joke.

I lost my sons tags and it cost me almost as much to replace all of them as it did to buy them the first time being that youth tags are half price

Yeah they do seem to be giving you more crap to lose out in the sticks now. When I went into Bi-Mart to buy my stuff I thought I was going to have to buy a brief case along with it. Stuck it in my wallet and hopped into the truck :bdid: and It was like half my ass was sitting on a brick.
