For me it is the one I feel I can blow the best.  For a long time it was the Primos Lil'dog because that is the one I learned on and could make any sound I wanted on it.  I bought a set of calls from RR Calls and they are top of the line but it took some getting use to.  Now Ricks open reed is my favorite and looks great too.  I got a small closed reed from rainshadow1 and it sound awesome also.  I could blow it right away and get a nice raspy rabbit sound.

Rick from, RNR Calls, sent me about 8-10 calls. I really like the ones I've tried. I have nearly 30 calls and 3 ecalls. I really like the quality of his calls, very nice. I had 5 dogs screaming back at me the other day but no success. I've used the Primos Lil dog too, which is good also.

Wasnt hard was just different than what I was use to.  All calls sound just a little bit different and it more of a confidence issue on my part.  Once I got to practice a bit I worked it out.  Now I only use the set from you.

ricks calls like any other do require some knowledge of the sounds or practice...play at home like an instrument ,make the mistakes at home,Ricks calls are my go to's...you guys, when ya play them, some you can make a bob in heat  sound that's awesome..Funny, I called the same cat in 5 times and missed with a snubnose 38,my wife laughed at me so hard, if it was a 6 shot I might have taken her out LOL...every body and the clubs out there are screaming and harassing at all times...For the most part many are just educating the critters.Get out alone and listen to the animals out there. They don't have to be dying and in distress, nor do you have to sound like what those selling calls sound like...all my critters I bring in are within a stones throw...not bragging just been doing it for a long time and have learned ..curiosity is a killer ;) anybody can call an animal within 500 yrds

See Ricky has the advantage of smelling kinda funny and when he giggles he sounds like a Yeti. other than that he is sorta normal. how ever since he is is an animal he knows how they squall and squeal. get a couple of his calls. I got some and they work, but ya gotta play em, they dont blow they selves.
