had a good day nutria hunting yesterday.  used a .204 and a .22  ended the day with 25 nutes

where's this at?  my father-in-law keeps buging me to get him some nutria,  i don't even know where to bigin.

I thought they were moslty nocturnal?? you spot light them or just go out in the early morning /evening?

NOT ME,  BUT MY FATHER-IN-LAW WILL.  HE USED TO EAT THEM ALL THE TIME BACK WHEN THEY STILL LIVED IN UZBEKISTAN.

I usually try most anything once. Might have to get one of these to try. We also make our own dog food, and I imagine there is a goodly amount of meat on them as well.

Bounty??? That perked my interest! Used to hunt Yotes in Montana for money. What are they paying?

They have a pretty strong musky smell when skinning them. Probably put most people off when it comes to cooking them. Not for me.

Next to shooting those 16'' bowling pins in south central Nebraska they call p-dogs that looks like an awesome way to spend a day....... :chuckle:
