I've been thinking I want another 22 mag pistol someday. While I was researching what my options were I came across Kel-Tec's new PMR-30 .22 mag. What a gun! A semi-auto .22 mag with a 30 round capacity! Now I know it's not the best looking pistol around, but 30 rounds of .22 mag in the palm of my hand sounds very appealing. Does anyone own or has anyone had any experience with one? I've had a couple of Ruger Single Six's in the past and assumed I'd end up buying another one, but now I'm not so sure.

Put a surefire light on it and it'd be a great rat/coon gun. I don't think you can change the sights on it. Plastic and double action.. I wouldn't like that part, but 30rnds could be fun with more spendy ammo than 22LR. No way to put a red dot or scope on it.
blowback or locked breach? What is it?

I guess its a combo between blowback and locked breach.

PMR-30
The PMR-30 is a light weight, full size pistol chambered for the flat-shooting .22Magnum cartridge (.22WMR). The PMR-30 operates on a unique hybrid blowback/locked-breech system. This operation system allows for the use of a wide variety of ammunition as it seamlessly adjusts between locked breach and blowback operation, depending on the pressure of the cartridge. It uses a double stack magazine of a new design that holds 30 rounds and fits completely in the grip of the pistol. The trigger is a crisp single action with an over-travel stop. The manual safety is a thumb activated ambidextrous safety lever (up for SAFE, down for FIRE). The slide locks back after the last shot and a manual slide lock lever is also provided. The light, crisp trigger pull and fiber optic sights make the PMR-30 ideal for target shooting and hunting small game.

Huh, gonna have to re-think the purchase. Was gonna pull the trigger on a Taurus 22 mag revolver, but might need to do some more research now that you brought this up.
Here's the Taurus: http://www.taurususa.com/product-details.cfm?id=619&category=Revolver&toggle=&breadcrumbseries= (http://www.taurususa.com/product-details.cfm?id=619&category=Revolver&toggle=&breadcrumbseries=)

I didn't think this was for sale yet.... Anyone hold one yet?
Would make a fun hiking/camp toy.

I think about 1000 +- out in the wild, and if you have not had your name in at your dealer for awhile then your next option is to pay over MSRP on an auction site?
