Title: NAP Quick Fletching
Post by: rpm4463 on January 11, 2011, 07:45:57 PM: Do you'all have experience with NAP quick fletch? The fletching that shrinks around the arrow shaft when you put it in boiling water. I've heard mixed results.

If they are NAP quick spin you may have to re-pin your sights when shooting with broadheads, they tend to drift a little(not much, but just enough), otherwise I really like them and it's a quick and cheap fix. Good luck with them.

Post by: Alan K on January 16, 2011, 12:11:05 PM: I didn't have any problem with them, just make sure when you submerge them you have 'em taped to the shaft on one end or the other or they'll slide a bit and you'll end up with the fletching varying between arrows maybe .125-.25" up or down the shaft.

I noticed that on my first half dozen arrows I did this way. Like I said, I didn't have any problem with the way they shot because of it, but it just looked tacky lol.
