Post by: Jackjr on April 29, 2008, 07:36:30 PM: good luck. Looks like the odds in idaho is better than our state. Thought about putting in for moose but thought I would give deer a try. It will be my first time heading to idaho hunting. I am hopeing for beginners luck. :)

Post by: Red Dawg on April 29, 2008, 07:40:02 PM: The odds suck for controlled hunts, at least the good ones. For deer and elk. But a guy can buy an over the counter general tag any day of the week until they run out.
