Arhhhhhh. These winter months drag about so slowly. I cannot help but thing of a full speckled star covered night listening to the bulls bugling. The smell of cowboy coffee and bacon in the morn, the woodsmoke, the clicking of the horses. The mountains are all snowed in and I'm ready to roll. Still another three months until bear season starts. :(

I worked up a few different loads the last couple weeks for a couple rifles and went to the gun club yesterday. Built a fire in one of the woodstoves. Had the place to myself for quite a while. A good fill in till big game hunting season gets here. The wood stove made me think of my deer camp. Smelled good.

Thus winter months sure do get at you. I'm waiting our annual fishing trip over east in early April. Can't wait to cross the bridge at vantage pulling the boat. 5 days of on the lake all day and drinking beer around the camp fire with some good friends.
