Title: Coyote bob cat area success question
Post by: CementFinisher on January 21, 2011, 07:21:29 PM
Anyone hunt off Scott turner rd? I shoot allot up there and have tried hunting it for day hunts on short work days. I know its an area that gets allot of human activity. The road connects up to the Orv area which i frequent and am just curious how many of you feel that area produces normal quantities of coyotes and bobs.

I don't know the area, but have you tried walking the ORV trails looking for sign? Scat and tracks show up real well on muddy trails.

They are jeep trails and in the winter that mud holds water, in many places it would be waste deep or more. however yes i do get out and look for sign, some of the less traveled logging roads show alot of sign.
