Title: Which bow mount electric for my new boat??

Hey guys I just got a new boat and I am trying to decide on which minn kota to get, the Terova or the Powerdrive V2.  Does anyone have either of these?  I know I want autopilot, but other than that I can't tell a difference between the two.  The boat is an 18 foot alumaweld sled and I plan on the motor being a 54" 55lb thrust.  any help is much appreciated.

The terova seem to be pretty good motors.  I would suggest getting at least a 65lb thrust (24 volt).  I have a 65 lb thrust on my 18 foot Lund and sometimes I wish I had an even bigger motor.  Your 55 lb will drain your batteries much faster than a bigger motor thats 24 volt.

definitely get a 24volt and I'd go 70+ lbs thrust, why not?
