Title: Saturday in Klickitat
Post by: bowtechforelk on May 06, 2008, 08:33:04 PM: I went to Klickitat last Saturday. I thought the weather was supposed to be pretty nice, but it rained. We had one tom answer. He came within about 50 yards and then started moving away. I think he might have been hened up. Later that day my step brother shot a jake. This was the first turkey either of us have ever shot. We just started hunting turkeys two years ago. We have slowly been learning.

Were you hunting on private land or up in the Klickitat Wildlife Management Area?
