Title: Funky looking shed
Post by: Devinshoe on January 31, 2011, 05:09:25 PM: Here's a funky looking shed I found last year. I was shed hunting with a buddy and stopped to get a drink of water and ended up losing it out my pack, then a couple months later I managed to find it again out of pure luck. It has the two main beams coming right out of the base. I am pretty sure it is a young moose. Whats your thought?

Has to be a moose, there aren't any deer left in the Entiat! :chuckle: :chuckle:

Ya there are no more deer in Entiat they all migrated to the wet side. ;)

Moose have the same style eyeguards too. What sold me on it being a moose shed is the angle the horn takes off at from the pedicle. It's much different than deer or elk.
