Title: Homemade E-Caller
Post by: jgregg on February 01, 2011, 01:44:22 PM: Successfully completed a homemade e-caller today from parts I got at Radio shack and only two solders, two wires stripped and 50$! Sound quality isn't what you'd get out of a foxpro but at medium volume (Which is more than enough) the quality is decent. Trying it out on thursday. I'll post results then.

I've been wondering how I could rig up something to use my cell phone, its a droid so I could download whatever then send it out thru the headphone jack.

Just couldn't figure out how to send it remotely

Here's another way to make a caller with you mp3 player and it costs about the same and its a plug and go system.

You can make these remote by using a Azden or Nady remote sound system for a camcorder. Here's a early Preymaster made remote with an Azden system.
