wings are good of course. Theres also stuffed mushroom & jalapenos. You could also go potato skins or even a easy chilli cheese dip. 1 can of your favorite chili with 1 8oz package cream cheese in a small crock pot. Usually takes two of each with your favorite chips.

this is pretty good
2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
1 cup sour cream
1 (4 1/2-ounce) can chopped green chiles
1 (4 1/4-ounce) can chopped olives
1 cup (4-ounce) shredded pepper jack cheese
2 tablespoons salsa, plus salsa for dipping, optional
1/2 cup green onion tops, sliced
1 cup chopped fresh spinach
2 packages flour tortillas
Directions
In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until creamy. Then add sour cream, green chiles, olives, pepper jack cheese, salsa, and onion tops. Beat at medium speed with an electric mixer. Stir in spinach. Spread mixture evenly over the surface of each tortilla. Roll up tortillas tightly and cut each tortilla crosswise into 6 slices. Skewer each wrap with a wooden toothpick. Serve immediately or chill. Serve with salsa for dipping, if desired.

here's another
15 jalapenos cut in 1/2, seeded and deveined
1 tablespoon canola oil
1/4 cup minced red onion
1/4 cup minced red bell pepper
3 tablespoons minced garlic
2 pounds mild Italian sausage, casings removed
2 cups mascarpone or cream cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan, plus more for garnish
Salt and pepper
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Minced chives
Directions
Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.

Place jalapenos on a sheet tray and roast for 5 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool.

Heat the oil in a medium saute pan. Add onions, peppers, garlic and sausage and cook for about 2 minutes. Remove and place in a large bowl. Cool to room temperature, then add mascarpone, and Parmesan. Mix ingredients thoroughly and season with salt and pepper.

Place approximately 1 tablespoon of mixture into each jalapeno half, and top with 1/2 teaspoon of mozzarella cheese.

Place the sheet tray of stuffed peppers in oven and bake for 5 minutes or until mozzarella cheese melts.

Garnish with minced chives and Parmesan.

bacon wrapped shrimp!

Easiest side dish to make.

All you need is a pound of med sized cleaned and deveined prawns
Barbeque sauce 16oz or larger (choice)
Salsa 16 oz or larger (choice)
Pound of bacon
Toothpicks.

Cut the bacon strips in half and set a side for later use.
Make sure your prawns or completely thawed. Fresh is best.
In mixing bowl, combine salsa and bbq sauce 50/50 mix well

Take a single prawn/shrimp wrap with a single half slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
Coat liberally with sauce mixture
BBQ over medium heat, cook for 3-5 minutes each side.

Serve hot and enjoy.

Like candy!!! gotta love em.

Teriyaki Elk bites.

50 / 50 sugar to soysauce.
Fresh crushed garlic
small amount of sesame oil.

Marinate.

Grill on hot as to caramelize the sugars on the meat.

I suspect they really aren't too hot either huh? I mean, jalapenos aren't hot to me anyways, but for someone with a wuss set of taste buds might not even mind them huh?

Beware, these are illegal in 30 states.   ;)

You need a package of thin sliced bacon, cut into thirds, and a pack or two of little smokies.  Roll each smokie in a strip of bacon and place on a baking pan.  Two packs of smokies will take 1 1/2 packs of bacon.  Some people stick toothpicks into them, but they really aren't needed.  Once the baking pan is covered with the bacon wrapped morsels, smother the works in a thin but even  layer of brown sugar.  Add cayenne to taste, and bake them at 350 for 40 minutes.  Stand back once served, they will be gondee in nothing flat.

What is better than pork, wrapped in pork, then smothered in brown sugar?  (nothing)

This sounds good, but I think you would end up with very overcooked shrimp...  Try microwaving your bacon until mostly done, then wrap the shrimp and cook for about, maybe 2-3 minutes per side.  This also helps keep the fat drippings from flaming up so much.  I microwave my bacon before wrapping backstraps and it works a lot better.
