Bone when I think the last pic of yours I looked at was the best, you come through again. Is that water dripping off of them? Fantastic reference material. Thanks. John

Is your camera sneaking your little blue pills? :chuckle:
-
If you look real close there are actually 4 Woodies, one is a hen in the lower portion of the picture. Just amazing is all I can say. John
-
That's awesome! I like how the wings are each in a different spot. Like a vertical time lapse, very cool...
-
I LOVE how that lower drake's wingtips are curling up... that is a great photo Doug!
-
Thanks everyone! I can't tell you how many I have missed.
-
I think I need to hunt there next year
-
Wonderful picture. Each one is in a different stroke of the wing beat all in sequence. One of the best waterfowl photos I've seen. It almost looks unreal.
-
Very cool. It is good to see dedication pay off. A lot of time and effort goes into getting a shot that good. Thanks for sharing.
-

I wish I could find one to shoot. Great picture.
any river with heavily wooded areas and small ponds like beaver ponds probably has wood ducks.
-
Seen it today but didn't have my camera. Grrrrrrr
-
Amazing shot! Those wood ducks have to be a contender for "most beautiful waterfowl".
-
Thank you. Yes, they really are amazing. Looks to be a good crop of them this year. I should get out before they are all gone.
-
Thanks Bone, what a comeback they have made, thanks to the nest box builders and right minded people
