I got a cool little folding knife from the NRA a while back even though it was a gift, I still have a bad taste in my mouth about the "CHINA" stamp on the blade.
I like that they have a section of product that are made in the USA but I feel like every product they have their logo on should be made here.
So I figured I would ask, what do you all think about it?

I got pissed at the NRA for sending me crap in the mail telling me who to vote for. I don't belong anymore for that reason.

It all bothers me no matter who or what group. Pretty hard to find US made gear anymore. But there are plenty of US knife manufacturing companies here and who no doubt are supporters at some level of the NRA. That's just pretty damn lame.

I prefer made in the USA if the quality is there. My grandpa was a doctor in a Canadian gold mining town, he carried the knife I carry now and it is stamped China. Looked at the bottom of this computer I'm using, Made in China. My Japanese truck was put together in Kentucky. However, the coffee table I bought at a garage sale for five dollars. It was made in Eugene.

i know it can be hard somtimes,but some good things can come from other countrys ,namely Canada. :hello:

I don't mind buying some things from other countries that are well made like Germany (H&K), Sweden (Aimpoint), Japan (Trijicon glass) or Austria (Glock). I just don't think the organization that is supposed to be more American than our own government, fighting to keep our basic rights to keep us free people should be selling "Imported" crap.
To me Canada & the US shouldn't even have a border but I understand if they don't want our problems. :chuckle:

Unfortunatley, this is the world we now live in. I bet alot of the companies and organizations we all enjoy take advantage of savings associated with the Made In China label. I do not blame the NRA.

Another way to look at it: the more NRA spends on trinkets, the less $ they have to protect the 2nd amendment.

Guess it depends on where they were imported from. I don't mind buying Canadian, German, or Swiss.

My thoughts exactly. Most of it is crap anyway.
I would bet most that contribute do so for reasons other than trinkets.

Sadly, it is darn near impossible to get things these days that aren't stamped Made in China. If you took all the merchandise that is marked Made in China off the store shelves, the stores would be empty. Was nearly blown away today when I went to Wally-World to buy coffee and filters. The filters were marked Made in USA. :yike:
