Just what we needed is a bunch of guys making our draw odds even worse than they already are. That site sure has become a total waste of time.

That's funny though that some just naturally thought they were from a high fence bull. To the best of my knowledge there are no high fence farms. Just the state projects have them. As far as I know private game farms are illegal in the state of Washington.

Maybe someone knows more and could shed some light on this.

Unless the rules have changed, you can have "pet" elk in WA, but I don't believe you can have them for hunting. I know you can no longer breed them in WA. My dad's clients used to have elk on their farm, but they had to move the breeders out of state. They kept 2-3 bull son their ranch though.

I'll look to see what it is under, but called wdfw before to ask and they said no. You can't even take a wild animal in if it is hurt. Have to call wdfw to come out. I don't think you'll see an increase in out fo state hunters, because our regs are one of the most stringed in the country and our season kinda sucks.

There is a difference between having a high-fence hunting ranch and having some for pets. They are not wild elk, which is the reason they had to stop breeding in WA state...too many getting out and mixing with the wild stock.

As far as the High fence thing. I have no clue if it is legal here or not never checked into it, but I know outside Ephreta there is one for mule deer and one in coleville that has exotics

As for pets elk, deer and bear should not be allowed for pets, their wild and should stay wild. I have also called and asked high fence hunting ranches are not permitted. I'll get the rwc on it and post it. And as far as this guy goes he should get kicked off here permitmently, crude like that doesn't fly well. This place is home. When I have not checked in a few days I get nervous that I am missing some killer pic, or some life changing scouting report or a new story from Idabooner and Boneaddict.
I find my self going to MM very seldom anymore. I do like to laugh at the arguments in the Campfire/political section or to read how Polarbear has stirred things up again.

So what if some kid says he has 200" sheds or posts pictures from other sites. It's really not the end of the world and not a huge issue. So your odds of drawing a tag went from .0000001 to .00000000001. Does it really matter? This thread should be nuked in a bad way...

Any my .000001 to .0000000001 comment was more of a joke about our piss poor draw odds than this incident making it worse. The odds cant get much worse for killling a big bull in this state than they already are. Odds will stay at next to impossible and will not go to impossible just becase of a world record bull in our state. They all think it is a farm bull anyway.
