I made it out for a few hours today looking for moose sheds.
I picked up this little guy down in the bottom going in. I thought I had taken a better ATL but cant find it on my camera now so sorry all you get is the close up ATL.

After finding that one I spent a couple of hours combing the area for the match or more but no luck.
Headed up to the top for moose sheds.

All i managed to find was this little guy from last year.

Not sure if the moose wintered up as high this year or not, did not find any fresh ones but I still got a few more areas to check out.

I picked this one up in the same area about three years ago. Wasn't able to match it up. He'd of been a cool looking bull but wouldn't score real well. With that tine length he would have been close to 50" wide.

man, if ya ever need a partner to help ya look and maybe help ya carry all that out...let me know ;)
-
moose bones are the best.
-
Bone when you gonna start posting some pic's of some of the sheds you've found?
-
I think you have to find them first. and before that you need to drive there, and before that you need to put gas in your truck, and before that you need to get your tax rebate, and before that it has to quit snowing in hell, or on the ridge, whichever comes first.
-
Snow?! :o No kidding, I honestly believe I couldnt get into my favorite area until Memorial Wknd. I haven't seen it yet this year, but there has to be snow in the cold canyons blocking my access. :dunno:
