Title: Clearwater this month
Post by: ribka on February 11, 2011, 12:21:43 PM: Anyone up to split a guided trip for steelhead this month on the Clearwater?

Plan on going with a guide one day to learn the river and return with my boat .

Post by: Sumpnneedskillin on February 13, 2011, 08:52:49 PM: We went to Orofino yesterday afternoon. There was easily 40 boats between Peck and Orofino. The bridge at the hatchery had about 25 people on it. There were probably 15 people right at the dam. That didn't count the people lining both sides of the channel or the couple of boats in the channel. Saw a boat pulled up on a sandy shore along the river and they were cleaning two fish. Other than that didn't see any others and didn't see anyone reeling any in.

Post by: woodywsu on February 13, 2011, 08:57:55 PM: Friend fished Peck yesterday and it was LIGHTS OUT. As stated earlier, eggs + pink house hole = LIGHTS OUT.
