I have a featherweight xtr in .270.....but it is not for sale.
My father has one that he might let go since he prefers his pre-64.

I posted these on a thread like this awhile back.
Top one is a .270 middle one is a .270wsm and the bottom one is a 338-06.
I love Model 70's I have a couple more pre 64's.

My 270 featherweight (that I do not wish to part with...)
Her name is Amanda and she is a tack driver.

One rifle I don't own is a modle 70. I have always wanted one with a walnut stock, pre 64 action and a stainless barrel. 270win or 30-06 would be my preference!

I'll get some shots tonight and post them up tomorrow. I just realized I have no photos of my guns!?! :dunno:

Both my old man and I shoot Model 70's in the .270 caliber. We both have the featherweight model. Mine has a black stock with a stainless barrel with a black scope and my dad's has the wood brown stock with a black barrel and black scope. His looks identical to the top one in Bigshooter's picture. If I didn't know any better I would think it was his. I love mine and feel totally confident with it out in the field.
