I took my new 270 WSM out last week with a box of cheap Federal ammo, shot cleaned, shot cleaned, sighted some, every thing was good nothing exceptional, shot 15 rounds. Went out yesterday, shot the last 5 of that box, 1.5 inches. shot the first few of new load, Federal premium Barnes 130 grain triple shock. adjusted scope, shot again adjusted scope. aiming point was center X about 1.5 inch lower than hole. Then shot this group, that is 3 rounds. 100 yards. I am not sure it will ever happen again but I am pleased. sorry for the blur. The bold lines are 1 inch apart the red squares are 1 inch.
