Title: Antelope Island shed hunt
Post by: Antlerking on February 23, 2011, 07:49:54 PM
%09er and I were talking about putting in for the drawing, but after I called down there to the state park, you have to be present ot get drawn. That would be a long drive for nothing. Has anyone shed hunted there, and how many do they draw?

Its in Utah, and I think you'd pretty much have to be a local.

Its overated.  Yah theres some monsters but the Park Rangers clean house before they open it up.
Utah is offering two tags to hunt deer there this year, first time ever.  One to public draw and the other was auctioned off with the winning bid at 256,000.

does anyone know if Antelope Island is officially off the B&C eligibility list? I heard a rumor that nothing taken there would make it in the books...
