Drove to Idaho Falls on Sunday to pick it up. Drove through a blizzard from the Idaho/Montana border all the way down to Idaho Falls, and drove home through blue bird weather all the way to Snoqualmie Pass, which was horrid Monday evening. Looking forward to guiding out of a boat thats built the way I want finally. Now I just need to get to the coast in the next week or so to break it in on some steel!

Very nice-hope you have a good heater ;)

Looks like a very nice setup :IBCOOL:

That is a dandy for sure... I like the way you loaded it up with all that storage. Where do you guide at mainly?
-
Sweet boat my brother has a hyde and loves it. :fishin:

I guide on the Yakima and Klickitat rivers mainly but I do trips all over the state depending on whats going on. I mainly fly fish but do conventional tackle as well. I've been fishing the Wynoochee quite a bit lately...

absolutely gorgeous boat! gotta slime that thing soon! :chuckle:
-
She sure is pretty. After a trip to the coast will break'er in just fine. Best of luck to ya.

what boat did u have before?
-
I had another Hyde a 2001 model. I bought it used and it had been abused and I abused it (I launch in a lot of unfriendly spots). I love hyde boats, I think they row the best out of any fiberglass boat out there.

Nice boat... wave if you see me on the Klick.

Good looking boat! I'm sure you will put it to use soon ;)

Well finally got the boat out on the water. Hit the Wynoochee on Thursday and Friday. Thursday was great fishing. Hooked out first fish about 30 seconds into the day! What a great way to break in the boat.We ended up hooking 11 fish and landing 7. One wild buck about 12 and a nice mix of hatchery and wild fish after that. Friday wasn't as great but hooked 5 and landed 4. One wild buck about 15 that we didn't get a photo of. Took my uncle and he caught his first steelhead on a fly rod nymphing. He landed 2 yesterday. All in all the boat was great. It rowed, didn't leak and didn't sink so its perfect! If I can round up pics from my buddies camera I'll post them.
