I have a D 55IR that has been taking great pics all year long but lately its hasn't been taking any. I checked it in mid January and it had some pics but not as many as usual. I changed the batteries thinking that would get it going but no luck.
Has this happened to any of you guys? Any ideas to get it to take pics?
Thanks,
JH

Did you try another SD card?

Are the lenses dirty? Especially the sensor lenses/covers. The instructions for my trailcam say this is important.

I think you locked your SD card...on the side theres a tiny little slider mechanism that locks or unlocks your card!

I put in a new sd card and we will see in a few weeks.

My Moultrie D40's will say "memory card locked" in the display, if it is locked. I have one or two memory cards that are a real pain, because the little slider thing moves too easily and it takes about 10 times inserting it before I can get it in there without locking it.
The Tasco's I just got aren't so nice. I had one out for a week and went to check it yesterday. It was on a deer trail with plenty of fresh tracks. Got to it and it had zero pictures. Finally figured out it was not because the camera wasn't working, it was just that the memory card was locked. :bash:
