Title: Revolver Help Please!
Post by: snagglepants on May 16, 2008, 01:42:29 PM
Hey there guys,

I could really use some help with something.  I have a Taurus 66 .357 that is less than a year old.  I have not put too many rounds through it and it looks to be in great condition.  Except that the cylinder will sometimes over spin when cocking it in single action, and the hammer ends up half way between two cartridges.  The cylinder will also rotate without pulling the hammer back.  Like I said, it is fairly new and I would rather not spend the $ to send it next day air to Florida for repairs.  Any ideas?  Maybe something is loose and I can tighten it myself.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!  Thanks!!!

I had a recall on my Taurus and contacted them. They sent me a box postage paid and I sent it back to them. Did you try to contact them to see if they could help you out?

My advice. Do not screw with it!! Mail it, you will have it back in 10 days or so. I have done this, they are great!!
