The Model with the 1 1/2 cutting diameter, with the non-barbed backs.

not tried them, pretty happy with what i use, Wensel Woodsmen, Grizzly, and the "greenheads" (Bear)
But I don't think they even come in a glue-on, do they ?
I like using wood arrows.

I like wood shafts also, for weight, but I just get longer life and less hassle with carbon shafts.  Just trying to find a heavy, steep angled, wide cutting diameter broadhead.  Glue-on or screw-in

Love my woodsmen and the Snuffers.... both seem to work well from my longbow.

I know a guy that hangs at the Pirate site that SWEARS by those big landsharks... The dang deer look like you hit them with a machete...

Ras... Good, Sharp, Sturdy.... thats all. I use Grizzlys, Snuffers and Razorcaps.... I always qualify that with the fact that I know a lot of successful bowhunters... and I am not one of them!!! (couple does have succombed to the hawk with Grizzlies though!)

The Lanshark broadheads look like they will create a large wound channel. As long as you don't hit bone I think they should work.

If you can shoot like madman Byron Ferguson, you're golden!  I've never heard a bad thing about them.  Wind-planing would be my only concern and that is low at that.

I shoot cedar and have used zwickey, magnus, bear and grizzly. I did not like the grizzly but would use the others.

I shot them in the early 90's from my recurve. Decent, very tough head . A little difficult for me to sharpen though. No wind planing for me and easy to tune. Was shooting four fletch at that time because most of my shots were close under 20 yds from tree stands

Would put in same category as the the top COC broadheads. I just happen to like magnus now. Woodsman a good head too

Have any of you read the Ashby studies?? He did a bunch of testing on broadheads in Africa on buffalo and such...pretty cool stuff. If you haven't, and want to, go to tradgang.com then look down the list for the "ashby"... LOTS of reading.
