Yes Sir the lens is a Fixed 400 mm f/5.6 with a 77 mm glass. It is an awesome lens and does a wonderful job. :) Actually, it isn't really that heavy either! :) Lately it has been hooked to the camera more than my 17-40 wide angle L series lens. :)

Thanks Wilson! :) I was driving when I saw the puddle of water and all the ducks, so I pulled over on the wide shoulder of the Busy Highway to grab some photos. I couldn't get out of the car due to the heavy traffic, so I just grabbed the camera, opened the window and stared shooting between the passing cars. :)
The water was on the other side of the highway, then another 50 feet to the edge of the water. The ducks were about midway out into the puddle, so I am guessing that they were about 150 to 200 feet away from me. I had to do some creative cropping to draw them out of the photos and get rid of passing vehicles. ;) :)

Skyval,
;) :) :D Yup! :) I decided in October to "Pull the Plug" for the second time and Retire! :) 38 years in the construction field, retired for a year and got bored so I got a job for 6 years in the Retail field.
This time I'm having a ball and enjoying life to the Maximum! :)
