are you talking deer or elk? little naches is a huge unit that ranges from sage brush to thick thick timber so it all depends on what you want to hunt and how hard you want to work... keep in mind there are a ton of hunters including myself ...
and during late season archery, virtually half of the unit is inaccessible due to snow

There's no elk or deer in there. ;)

Seriously, that unit just opened for bowhunting last year.  Not much success if you ask me.  Wait until the report comes out to make a decision.  And like adamR said, late season is pretty much inaccessible.

There's a definite learning curve when hunting the Little Naches.

Get a map, pick a FS road and start driving back to the remote areas. Find food, water, thick steep, nasty areas and start scouting.
No real secret areas back there

Yeah there is ribka.

The darkest, steepest, nastyest place you can find holds all the elk. I watched them from a distance remember  :bash:
