Title: Heron Colony
Post by: Dmanmastertracker on March 05, 2011, 07:14:49 PM: I saw the most heron's I've ever seen in one place this past week. The pic doesn't do it justice, if I'd have had a wider-angle lens, you would see over 100 of them in the row.

There were flocks of them, maybe numbering in the 1000's in the surrounding area, we accidentially spooked them and off the whole stinking lot circled and circled till they elevation, all while sounding off. It was unreal and loud. But my photograph does not do any justice...

These look like sandhill cranes.
